Best graphics card out of the 3 and has a good processor.

Stay as far away as you can from the ones like that amazon one. You'll see them a lot, they may look pretty and good but they are not, they use words to make you buy it. The graphics card it uses is like £20 and could hardly run minecraft. They are the dog poo of computing

I see what you are doing, you are trying to get one for under £300 or £400 and you won't find any good ones. The only way to get one for that price is to buy a cheap machine with a good processor and add better parts. You aren't gonna have much luck. I suggest going with the second one in your first post

Well he wants a desktop but he only wants 40fps. He may as well buy a laptop. I was under the assumption that he wanted a real computer.

then hes a fool. having MC naturally at 40 FPS means he wont be able to take any strenuous situation. if he joins a multiplayer map with something big on hes fucked.

he just needs to deal with the price and buy a desktop and get a good fps.
j4mesyz4de used to have a laptop naturally at 40 FPS. he ended up buying a gaming laptop because he couldn't cope with the constant lag. ow he couldn't be happier.

(the following suggestions are just quickies. i did not search in total detail)
this laptop is good but it could be better : http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/samsung-series-5-550p5c-15-6-laptop-silver-17056548-pdt.html

and this desktop should suffice for minecraft... and the rest : http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/advent-dt2315-desktop-pc-14553699-pdt.html

Look silver. I dont want to spend over £550 pounds and i want a desktop for other reasons and not only gaming.

You won't find a decent PC for £300. Unless you buy a cheap one with good processor and do it up. Or make your own, desktops are expensive and as you said you can't spend too much

What about £400? That seems decent and is it possible to change the graphics card in a pc?

wow. listen to what the expert (jasonfran) is saying here. either build your own or just be a little expensive. if you just want a computer for work and minecraft buy a shitty laptop and although minecraft with be a butt fuck to use you will be in your price range. these things wont go cheaper panda. either buy a GOOD one or a BAD one. because you keep saying you dont want to build them.

you want under £400? fine
look at these

desktop

laptop

(the laptop price is on an internet offer for like 150 pounds cheaper so really its not in range but yeah)

That desktop is a good starting point to build your own PC. The only changes you'd need to make would be the processor even though it would be fine for a while, and the graphics card as it is only Intel HD

Pretty much, you'd have to check if they were compatible and check that there is enough room for a good graphics card.
