ugh... im really starting to miss notch and his usually 3 month late updates...
whats even in this update apart from bug fixes?

darth banned me and SMG for a week because an argument got out of hand when smg was making up quotes saying im fat and stuff... so i had... a rage... so 4 days becomes 11... and i thought i was going to have a holiday... this is worse that school...

why do we even need a different server for a 0.0 update? is the change in code that dramatic or something?
ms... your the one who knows everything... why do we need a new server for such a small update when things like other updates diddnt until a 0. update...

Most of the changes are client side, but the update also included some fixes for the server as well. Therefore they make the server only accept clients with the same version as the server, to ensure maximum compatibility.

However it is possible to mod the craftbukkit.jar to accept data connections from several client versions
